In addition, TeamOne also has a charity donation fund that anonymously supports diverse causes such as cancer, diabetes and children’s shelters. Some of the other organizations that TeamOne sponsors, supports or is a member of include:
The California Chamber of Commerce
For more than a century, the California Chamber of Commerce has worked to make California a better place to do business, giving private-sector employers a voice in state politics by providing a full range of California-specific services. As a long-active board member of the CalChamber—and current chair of the Worker’s Compensation committee—TeamOne CEO Frank Moran has helped this broad-based not-for-profit business advocate, and influence, government actions affecting all California business at the state and federal levels. The Distribution Management Association (DMA)
Due to the number of distribution and warehouse clients that TeamOne services, we are actively involved with the Distribution Management Association (DMA). As a non-profit trade organization for logistics and supply chain leaders devoted to the advancement of distribution, warehousing and transportation, the DMA is determined to become the Inland Empire’s premier supply chain trade association—a true community resource wielding legislative influence, while promoting two-way educational programs for the logistics industry. Union Rescue Mission
The Union Rescue Mission (URM) is the largest mission of its kind in America—bringing help and hope to the desperate, poor and homeless men, women, and children of downtown Los Angeles. On numerous occasions, TeamOne employees have found it rewarding to volunteer their time downtown—to help break the cycle of homelessness. The Union Rescue Mission is supported exclusively by private contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations. The National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE)
NFTE’s mission is to teach entrepreneurship to low-income young people (ages 11-18), so they can become economically productive members of society. NFTE’s strategy for achieving this mission is to partnerwith schools and community-based organizations to train and support volunteer workers while creating an experimental curriculum with supportive alumni services.
